Summary

CCL Hospitality Group is looking for a Marketing Manager to support the planning, coordination, and execution of high-impact events - including tradeshows, client activations, and internal meetings. This role is perfect for a strong project manager who brings energy, creativity, and precision to event planning and execution.

You'll work closely with our sales, corporate support, and operations teams to ensure we show up in meaningful, brand-aligned ways at events that matter.

Key Responsibilities

Lead the planning and execution of tradeshows and conferences, client-facing events, and internal company events-including strategy development, pre and post-event planning, budget tracking and management, logistics, vendor coordination, branded materials and collateral, and on-site support. You'll manage all aspects of these events from end to end, ensuring each one is aligned with business priorities, reflects our brand, and delivers a strong experience for attendees.

Collaborate cross-functionally with internal stakeholders - including sales, corporate support and operations teams - to align messaging, coordinate deliverables, and ensure a consistent, high-quality experience across all touchpoints.

Build and maintain relationships with key industry associations and event organizers, staying informed of relevant sponsorship and speaking opportunities, and helping to shape how we show up in the marketplace.

Maintain and evolve event planning infrastructure, including a master event calendar, working timelines, checklists, playbooks, and post-event workflows to drive clarity, scalability, and process consistency.

Track event budgets, ensuring all expenses align with forecasted costs, vendor contracts are adhered to, and resources are allocated efficiently across event types.

Support a process of continuous improvement across all events, including leading after-action reviews, capturing feedback, analyzing performance, and identifying opportunities to enhance our strategy, execution, and impact over time.

Support broader marketing initiatives and special projects as needed, contributing to campaigns, brand initiatives, and cross-functional efforts beyond events.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience in event planning, tradeshow execution, or marketing project management, preferably in a B2B environment
  • Demonstrated success in owning and executing events from strategy through post-event
  • Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple priorities under tight deadlines
  • Confident communicator and collaborator with experience working across departments and with external partners
  • A proactive, solutions-oriented mindset with a willingness to roll up your sleeves and lead through execution
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite; experience with event or project management tools (e.g., Monday.com) is a plus
  • Willingness to travel (approximately 50%) to support on-site execution at key events
