Senior Solution Architect

We are seeking a highly skilled a Senior Manager with 15 to 18 years of experience, who will set the overall technical vision and direction for the client. Oversee the architecture for the client and mentors' senior architect on complex technical choices and design decisions. Hands on in terms of design and coding and to be able to lead the team to solve most complex /high impact problems with the client

* Drives best practices such as design reviews, code reviews, architecture reviews

* Collaborates with senior business leaders on strategic topics, evangelizes technology vision, strategy and proposes technology investments to drive business growth

* Hands-on, technically deep Ability to solve complex and ambiguous problems Ability to design and build scalable systems, platforms and architectures

* Exceptional coding and design skills

* Excellent verbal and written communication skills

* Excellent influencing and stakeholder management

* Breadth of experience across distributed systems, micro services, front end and backend technologies (cloud and native)

Required Qualifications

* Python

* AWS DevOps

* AWS

* AWS Lambda, AWS Step Functions, Amazon API Gateway, Amazon SQS, Amazon SNS, AWS Transfer Family

* Strong experience with AWS services (EKS, ECS, Fargate).}

* Proficiency in CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI, AWS CodePipeline, AWS CodeCommit, AWS CodeDeploy).

* Strong experience with Micro Services implementations

* Advanced scripting skills (Python, Bash, PowerShell).

* Experience with infrastructure as code (IaC) using Terraform or CloudFormation.

* Knowledge of container orchestration (Kubernetes).

* Proficiency in using AWS CloudWatch for monitoring and logging.

* Experience with SAST and DAST integration.

* Knowledge of branching strategies and best practices.

* Experience with blue-green and canary deployments.

* Proficiency with Docker for containerization.

Other Compensation:

The annual salary for this position is between $ 159,000/Year to $ 186,500/Year depending on the experience and other qualifications of the candidate.

This position is also eligible for Cognizant's discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant's applicable plans.
