Your Role on the Team

We are recruiting a fulltime board-certified/board-eligible vascular surgeon with a commitment to providing quality clinical care and expertise in open and minimally invasive surgical approaches. This individual should have experience in treating the full spectrum of vascular disease including arterial, venous, and lymphatic pathologies.

Primary responsibilities of this position include expanding and innovating inpatient and outpatient clinical care at UCI Health community clinical sites, with the desire to build a practice and foster collegial relationships with community-based physicians, specialty care surgeons and providers throughout the UCI Health system.

This opportunity will be an extension of the Division of Vascular Surgery working with seven vascular surgeons and other multi-disciplinary specialty services.

Required:

  • Demonstrated experience in quality improvement to improve patient outcomes.
  • Leadership skills: ability to motivate, inspire, communicate with faculty, residents, staff, and peers to maintain a professional, team-based approach in the care of patients
  • Adhere to departmental policies, procedures, and objectives while in compliance of all UC policies and procedures. Maintain patient confidentiality and comply with all state and federal privacy laws.
  • Candidates must possess a M.D. degree.
  • Board-certified or eligible in the field of Vascular Surgery
  • Eligible for California licensure
  • Experienced in providing and/or oversight of care.
