JOB DESCRIPTION AND POSITION REQUIREMENTS: INTRODUCTION: The Department of Health Policy and Administration (HPA) in the College of Health and Human Development (HHD) invites applications for a full-time (48 week), non-tenure track Assistant or Associate Teaching Professor position for its residential and online undergraduate and/or MHA degree programs. RESPONSIBILITIES: Primary teaching responsibilities include, but are not limited to: courses on Health Care Finance, Health Care Payment, Consumer Choices in Health Care, Health Care Management, Strategic Planning and Marketing, and Health Care Leadership. A full listing of undergraduate and graduate courses in HPA is available at: bulletins.psu.edu/university-course-descriptions/undergraduate/hpa/ and bulletins.psu.edu/university-course-descriptions/graduate/hpa/ QUALIFICATIONS: Candidates must hold a Masters degree (Doctoral degree preferred) in health management, health policy, nursing, public health or a related field, and have teaching experience, preferably both in person and online. Professional experience or background in healthcare finance is desired. SALARY:Competitive, commensurate with background and experience.An attractive benefits package is available.
