Microsoft Teams Phone Engineer

Genesis10 is seeking a Microsoft Teams Phone Engineer for a contract with our client in Inver Grove Heights.

Job Description:

The ideal candidate will be responsible for supporting migration efforts to the Microsoft Teams Phone platform, designing and implementing telecommunication solutions, and maintaining telephony-related hardware, software, and infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities:

  Lead migration efforts to Microsoft Teams Phone, ensuring seamless transition and integration.

  
  
• 
  

  Work with business stakeholders to gather and document business requirements.

  
  
• 
  

  Develop telecommunication solutions that align with business processes and goals, considering not only the "how," but also the "why" and "why not" of telephony service delivery.

  
  
• 
  

  Prepare detailed specifications, flowcharts, and end-to-end Visio designs for implementing telephony solutions.

  
  
• 
  

  Maintain telephony-related hardware, software, and infrastructure to ensure optimal performance.

  
  
• 
  

  Monitor, track, and resolve deficiencies in telephony systems, including hardware, software, and infrastructure, while identifying potential weaknesses and tendencies toward failure.

  
  
• 
  

  Administer and troubleshoot dial-plans, call flows, and vectors, ensuring smooth operation across telecommunication systems.

  
  

Qualifications:

• 
  

  Proven experience with Microsoft Teams Phone, including migration efforts to the platform.

  
  
• 
  

  Hands-on experience with CCaaS platforms such as Five9, NICE, Genesys, or Cisco.

  
  
• 
  

  Ability to work with the business to gather and define business requirements for telecommunication solutions.

  
  
• 
  

  In-depth understanding of telephony service delivery and how it aligns with business processes and objectives.

  
  
• 
  

  Strong skills in telecommunication design and development, ensuring solutions address user needs effectively.

  
  
• 
  

  Experience maintaining telecommunication hardware, software, and infrastructure.

  
  
• 
  

  Proven track record of monitoring, logging, tracking, and resolving issues in telephony systems.

  
  

Compensation: Hourly W2 pay rate $70- $90
