Job Description

General Summary:

The Congress Operations Senior Manager will lead congress and booth planning for one disease area including multiple congresses with a significant company presence. This role will implement a congress planning team for each major congress assigned and ensure the team delivers on the required elements of the planning process.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Serves as the lead project manager for disease congress plans.
  • Tracks congress timelines and ensures the strategic alignment team for each meeting delivers on the required elements on the planning process (congress overview decks, attendance lists, executive summaries)
  • Runs strategic alignment meetings including collecting the right agenda topics, ensuring the right discussions/decisions are made, and captures the minutes/action items post meeting
  • Implements congress toolkits/playbook for each congress and is responsible for the development of the congress overview deck and executive summary
  • Coordinates the creation and distribution of daily summaries and congress summaries for internal audiences and uploads into INSIGHTs tool
  • Leads Medical booth planning, design, and build.
  • Provides on-site support for congresses
  • Develops annual Congress plan and obtains cross-functional alignment and leadership approval
  • Develops and maintains project budgets, and is accountable for understanding and communicating forecast variance, risks and opportunities

Knowledge and Skills:

  • Ability to work collaboratively with multiple internal functions and external stakeholders
  • Ability to work independently and align with manager on congress planning standards and processes to ensure consistent approach across diseases and congresses
  • Experience in project management roles and experience with congress planning and execution

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree
  • Typically requires 6 years of experience or the equivalent combination of education and experience

Pay Range:

$126,800 - $190,200

Disclosure Statement:

The range provided is based on what we believe is a reasonable estimate for the base salary pay range for this job at the time of posting. This role is eligible for an annual bonus and annual equity awards. Some roles may also be eligible for overtime pay, in accordance with federal and state requirements. Actual base salary pay will be based on a number of factors, including skills, competencies, experience, and other job-related factors permitted by law.

In this Remote-Eligible role, you can choose to be designated as:
1. Remote: work remotely five days per week and come into the office on occasion - you're always welcome on-site; or select
2. Hybrid: work remotely up to two days per week; or select
3. On-Site: work five days per week on-site with ad hoc flexibility.
