NRI North America is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Internal Power BI Business Analyst to join our team. This position is responsible for designing and implementing business intelligence solutions using Power BI to support financial, sales, and operational decision-making processes. The ideal candidate should have a deep technical understanding of Power BI and a strong business acumen, with experience in financial, sales, and operational data analysis.

Responsibilities
  • Design and develop Power BI dashboards, reports, and data models to support financial, sales, and operational decision-making processes
  • Analyze business requirements and work with stakeholders to define data needs and data integration requirements
  • Collaborate with IT and business teams to identify and resolve data quality and integration issues
  • Conduct data analysis and provide insights to support business decisions
  • Develop and maintain technical documentation for Power BI solutions
  • Translate business requirements into technical specifications
  • Implement methods and best practices that align with business and technical requirements for modeling, visualizing, and analyzing data
  • Work with stakeholders across the organization to identify reporting needs
  • Gather reporting requirements from stakeholders as reporting needs are identified
  • Build reports around key metrics relating to Financial, Operational, and Sales data
  • Validate report results are correct by ensuring results tie out to source system inputs as well as working with subject matter experts as needed
  • Collaborate with stakeholders on final report structure and layout to ensure quality standards are met
  • Troubleshoot report refresh errors and data quality issues and fix report structure as needed
  • Assist with time sensitive month-end financial processes.
  • Continually improve processes relating to report updates
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Computer Science, or related field
  • Experience in Power BI development and implementation
  • Business acumen in the areas of finance, sales, and operations
  • Strong understanding of Power BI features and capabilities, including data modeling, DAX, Power Query, and visualization
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment
  • Experience with SQL and data integration technologies
  • Familiarity with version control for managing and promoting changes
