Overview

As a Quality Assurance (QA) Engineer for the regulatory reporting team, you will be designing and maintaining automated test cases that will streamline the regression testing on our global regulatory reporting platform. You will also be partnering with the global operations team and front office technology teams to ensure that new trading flows can be properly reported to our external regulators. Your role is critical to the Bank and provides a unique learning opportunity in a challenging domain. What You'll Do

  • Designing new automated regression test cases using the Gherkin/Cucumber framework

  • Drafting Testing Scope and Test Plans for changes to our existing global regulatory reporting platform

  • Evaluating QA results and operating as the final arbitrator on whether functional change go live at the end of a sprint

  • Supporting end to end testing initiatives with regulatory reporting impact that will involve partnering with both operations and front office technology teams

  • Actively participating in weekly sprint meeting with the global regulatory reporting development team

  • Providing subject matter expertise and recommendations to improve general QA processes at our organization

Skills You'll Need

  • Proven experience in supporting global regulatory reporting changes in listed derivatives and equities products (MiFID II, CAT reporting knowledge)

  • In-depth knowledge of the FIX protocol

  • Strong Structured Query Language (SQL) and PLSQL knowledge

  • Familiarity with order and post trade lifecycle events

Expectations

It is the Bank's expectation that employees hired into this role will work in the Cary, NC office in accordance with the Bank's hybrid working model.

The salary range for this position in Cary, NC is $100,000 to $142,250. Actual salaries may be based on a number of factors including, but not limited to, a candidate's skill set, experience, education, work location and other qualifications. Posted salary ranges do not include incentive compensation or any other type of remuneration.
