Global Compliance
Our division prevents, detects and mitigates compliance, regulatory and reputational risk across the firm and helps to strengthen the firm's culture of compliance. Compliance accomplishes these through the firm's enterprise-wide compliance risk management program. As an independent control function and part of the firm's second line of defense, Compliance assesses the firm's compliance, regulatory and reputational risk; monitors for compliance with new or amended laws, rules and regulations; designs and implements controls, policies, procedures and training; conducts independent testing; investigates, surveils and monitors for compliance risks and breaches; and leads the firm's responses to regulatory examinations, audits and inquiries. You'll be part of a team with members from a wide range of academic and professional backgrounds, such as law, accounting, sales, and trading. We look for those who possess sound judgment, curiosity, and are able to adapt to a changing regulatory landscape. Metrics and Reporting Financial Crimes Compliance Financial Crime Compliance has primary responsibility for the execution of the firm's enterprise-wide Anti-Money Laundering, anti-bribery, and government sanctions compliance programs and, among other things, performs enhanced due diligence and government sanctions screening, as well as surveillance and investigations designed to identify potential terrorist financing, money laundering, bribery, market abuse, or other suspicious activity. Responsibilities and Qualifications Within the Financial Crime Compliance division, the Metrics and Reporting team oversee established FCC governance model, produce centralized metrics and reporting, and monitor productivity and performance metrics. Metrics and Reporting professionals execute critical day-to-day compliance operations activities, lead projects and contribute to the ongoing advancement of our program. Regulators mandate our division to provide robust metrics, data-driven insight, and oversight of governance to ensure risk is being managed effectively. The Metrics and Reporting Vice President will be responsible for regular reporting tasks, supporting in a variety of projects, driving process enhancements, and supporting technical roadblocks. The individual will need to work well independently and as part of a team, demonstrate attention to details and time management. Also, the role is ideal for collaborative individuals that can understand business needs and identify how to meet those needs through the design and implementation of processes and tools. Additionally, the workload will include fast turnaround of ad-hoc reports and other technical end user support for operations.
