Overview

Cash, Surveillance and Messaging Operations is a global organization within Chief Operating Office (COO) Corporate Bank Operations that supports Cash Management and Institutional Cash Management Businesses in enabling their growth as well as collaborating with Corporate Bank Technology and across the Deutsche Bank wide franchise. Cash Operations supports the delivery of a wide range of payment and cash management related products to financial institutions, corporates and non-bank financial institutions. Product examples: Clearing services, Bulk payment and Receivables, Single Payment, Check, Account & Liquidity Management.

The Director Position will report directly to the global head of Cash, Surveillance and Messaging Operations. This high-energy, results-oriented job requires a balance of strong people and leadership skills, executed with a sense of urgency in resolving problems and issues; Creativity, work schedule flexibility, adaptability to changing business and Anti-Financial Crime (AFC) conditions, and a heavy emphasis on timely execution, quality and accuracy is key to be successful in this role.

What You'll Do

  • Leadership Role / Management of all US dollar (USD) Cash Operations and Investigations processes and Teams including overall accountability for all employees and functions performed in Hubs and Branches
  • Drive design and execute Target Operating Model of USD Payments Operations and support global alignment and centralization
  • Standardization and harmonization of processes to support process automation and the development of the strategic Target System Architecture to build a solid foundation for further growth and increase efficiency
  • Strong focus on team building, integration, staff motivation and talent development

How You'll Lead

  • Stakeholder management and coordination across AFC, Product development, Technology and Infrastructure units
  • Managing relationships both outside and within the organization as a representative of the USD Payments space e.g. Federal Reserve, CHIPS on global and regional management level

Skills You'll Need

  • Senior level understanding of the USD Cash Operations processes, AFC requirements and end-to-end processes
  • Strong relationship manager to build and expand governance and connectivity across global regions incl Branches with focus on improving client experience and risk controls, Entrepreneurial thinking and acting at all times with a strong customer and risk focus
  • Ability to work under pressure, handle multiple priorities, and work as part of a team as well as individually
  • Highly motivated, strong problem-solving skills and ability to overcome challenges in a positive manner, adhering to strict deadlines and tight turn-around times
  • Ability to establish and maintain a high performing, inclusive Risk and Speak-Up culture in line with Deutsche Bank Values

Expectations

It is the Bank's expectation that employees hired into this role will work in the Jacksonville, FL office in accordance with the Bank's hybrid working model.

The salary range for this position in Jacksonville is $133,000 to $189,550.Actual salaries may be based on a number of factors including, but not limited to, a candidate's skill set, experience, education, work location and other qualifications. Posted salary ranges do not include incentive compensation or any other type of remuneration.
