Posting Summary
Conduct research on flame, laser, non-equilibrium plasma synthesis of nanomaterials, with in-situ spectroscopic diagnosis of the processes. Past background in the specific area is required. Person must be expert in the machining (i.e., milling, lathe, CNC), capable of teaching machining class and building scientific apparatus. Person must be able to program in Fortran and run numerical simulations with chemkin module. Person must be expert in statistical thermodynamics and combustion. This is grant funded position contingent on availability of funding.
