What You Need to Know
The Senior Director, Marketing is responsible for developing and executing a marketing strategy that helps drives brand growth through integrated marketing initiatives, which consists of traditional, digital and content marketing with measurable ROI. The Sr. Director will partner and align with enterprise functions, including our business line leads in business development and operations, compliance, legal, talent acquisition and other functions to design and deliver marketing communications programs that are integrated with business strategies and objectives. This position reports to the Senior Vice President of Marketing & Communications. The successful candidate will be a proven people leader and self-starter and is adept at forging strong relationships with key stakeholders. This role will collaborate with the broader Marketing & Communications team to identify stakeholder needs throughout the organization, execute plans, and manage marketing and content strategy, offer consulting and advice on marketing, socialize performance and exhibit a thorough comprehension of relevant digital resources and systems.
- Develop and implement a holistic marketing strategy both nationally, and on behalf of our local markets, aligned with business objectives, including goals for sales enablement support, multichannel (digital, mobile, social media and traditional) collateral ideation, website content and traffic, email/text campaigns, promotional items, branded uniforms/apparel, advertising, and events/sponsorships, and tracking and testing strategies and brand awareness.
- Continue refinement of the overall content strategy, including value story, target audience, content pillars, content formats, distribution channels, and alignment with business objectives. Partner with the Digital Analytics team to develop and refine our marketing targeting and tracking metrics.
- Coordinate with the Creative team to develop content tailored to the specific medium and audience requirements, such as print materials, social, video, website, mobile and other promotional materials.
- Partner with the Communications team leadership to ensure consistency in our messaging across communications and marketing materials.
- Continuously assess market trends and emerging technologies to drive innovation in marketing approaches and content delivery methods to engage key audiences effectively.
- Manage review/revision/approval processes & workflow to ensure achievement of marketing and business goals/objectives
- Directs structure of, and communication about, quarterly order windows for Sales support, ensuring set-up for appropriately timed offerings and accurate budget controls.
- Directs activities of key supplier relationship(s) for printed material, promotional items, and uniforms/apparel.
- Pays invoices, tracks spending, and informs monthly closes for marketing activities.
- Routinely seeks input from key stakeholders regarding the quality of programs and services.
- Continuously assess, refine and optimize marketing strategies based on feedback, outcomes, and industry trends.
- Provide guidance and leadership to business line leaders, share marketing knowledge, performance and expertise with partners.
- Provide leadership to the Marketing team to foster professional growth and development.

Qualifications

- Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, communications or a related field and 10+ years experience.
- Healthcare and/or B2B marketing experience preferred.
- Demonstrated experience working with an integrated marketing & communications team to achieve desired outcomes.
- Serves as a strategic partner and trusted advisor to line of business leadership; can push back appropriately and manage expectations.
- Demonstrates superior intellectual capacity, problem-solving and sound judgment to lead in a changing environment; comfortable working in a large, dispersed organization.
- Ability to effectively lead, supervise, coach, mentor and develop staff in ways that strengthen team effectiveness and efficiencies.
- Team player with a strong growth mindset, positive, can-do attitude; able to roll up sleeves as well as operate at strategic level.
