Qualifications

Position Summary: The Resident Account Manager is responsible for assisting in all administrative duties including, but not limited to, resident account management, delinquency reporting and eviction processing, final deposit accounting, maintaining the shared general inbox as well as Pre-Close and Accounting Month End. Exhibits a strong commitment to the service needs of all customers and represents the company in a professional and courteous manner.

Essential Job Functions:



  • Assists with daily and month-end reporting including accurate reporting on resident ledgers.
  • Responsible for collection on delinquency and the eviction process, to include providing eviction paperwork to a third-party attorney or through Nationwide Eviction so that evictions can be filed in court.
  • Initiates Pre-Close twice monthly; enters Helpdesk Tickets for corrections as needed.
  • Responsible for utilizing the RAM Accounting Month End (AME) checklist on the date specified by the accounting schedule; enters help desk tickets or notifies Community Manager of any corrections that need to be made prior to close out.
  • Responsible for all administrative aspects of creating the Final Account Statements. *(After the unit has been walked by an on-site team member and bids and damages are uploaded to a centralized location).
  • Responsible for the issuing of Notice to Vacate (NTV) confirmation emails within 24 hours of the posting of a new NTV in the Property Management Software.
  • Maintain the Resident Account Manager (RAM) shared email inbox.
  • Communicates with residents in a timely manner through inquiries to the shared RAM email inbox.


Minimum Qualifications/Skills:



  • Minimum of 12months as aLeasing Consultant experience with BH
  • High School diploma or GED
  • Basic computer technology skills and basic knowledge of MS Office Suite
  • Effective oral and written communication skills
  • Ability to work with a diverse group of people in a collaborative setting both in person and remote
  • Ability to handle multiple projects and thrive in a fast-paced, competitive environment



Desired Qualifications/Skills:



  • Previous bookkeeping/account reconciliation experience
  • Previous property management industry experience



Physical Requirements/Environment: The physical requirements described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.

This job generally operates in a professional office environment, but may also occasionally operate in an outdoor environment. While performing the duties of this job, employees must be able to remain in a stationary position for long periods of time, occasionally move about the office, constantly operate a computer and other office equipment, communicate regularly and effectively with others, both written and verbally.

This position requires close visual acuity to perform an activity such as preparing and analyzing data and figures, viewing a computer terminal, and extensive reading.

The ability and means to travel locally, overnight, in specific regions or states via automobile and airplane may be required.

Work Schedule: 8am-5pm, Monday-Friday; additional hours, including weekends, may be required to meet business needs.
