Essential Job Duties |
The Sihi Biogeochemistry Lab at North Carolina State University seeks a motivated and skilled computational scientist to support and advance research at the intersection of soil biogeochemistry and ecosystem modeling. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in R and Python programming, with applications in data analysis, statistical modeling, and/or machine learning for environmental and ecological systems.
This position offers the opportunity to work on cutting-edge research integrating field data, laboratory measurements, and computational models to better understand carbon and nutrient dynamics, soil health, and greenhouse gas emissions in natural and managed ecosystems. |
