Essential Job Duties |
The Spanish Translator will be responsible for translating written documents from English to Spanish and Spanish to English, ensuring accuracy, clarity, and cultural appropriateness. This role requires strong language skills, attention to detail, and the ability to maintain the intended meaning and tone of the original content.
Key Responsibilities:
- Translate a variety of documents, including technical, educational, administrative, and general content, between English and Spanish
- Ensure that translations are accurate, culturally relevant, and reflect the intent and tone of the original text
- Proofread and edit translated materials for grammar, punctuation, and style consistency
- Collaborate with staff to clarify terminology, context, or intent when needed
- Maintain confidentiality of all sensitive or proprietary information
- Meet project deadlines and manage multiple translation assignments as needed
