What you will be doing

* Development Engineer will be responsible for design, development, delivery and support of the Wealth Management Software.

* Should be able to provide On-Call production support on a rotation basis.

* Interacts with product managers and/or users to define system requirements and/or necessary modifications.

* Participates in software design meetings and analyzes user needs to determine technical requirements.
* Write functional and technical specifications based on conceptual design and stated business requirements.
* Writes code, completes programming and performs testing and debugging of applications using current programming languages and technologies.
* Completes all the required documentation and procedures.
* Trains and communicates with internal Client Training, Client Relationship and Sales teams on systems application.
* May deliver informational and decision-seeking presentations to technical and business groups to internal and/or external audiences.
* Other related duties assigned as needed.

What you bring:

  • Excellent understanding of SDLC.
  • Hands-on experience and excellent understanding and knowledge of C, Pointers and Data Structures.
  • Hands-on experience on LINUX / UNIX environment.
  • Experience and good understanding on Pro*C, Relational Database and Advance PL/SQL.
  • Experience in An EXPLAIN PLANand performance tuning.
  • Exposure on FORTRAN, PL1 and .Net will be an added advantage.
  • Knowledge of Perl/Python/Shell scripting will be an added advantage.
  • Prior experience on AUTOSYS will be plus.
  • Knowledge of the financial services marketplace.
  • Excellent trouble shooting and analytical skills.
  • Readiness to work on proprietary languages.

Qualifications

  • A Bachelor's degree in computer engineering, computer science or other related discipline or the equivalent combination of education, training, or work experience.

FIS is committed to providing its employees with an exciting career opportunity and competitive compensation. The pay range for this full-time position is $106,800.00 - $179,430.00 and reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for this position based on the posted role, level, and location. Within the range, actual individual starting pay is determined by additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Any changes in work location will also impact actual individual starting pay. Please consult with your recruiter about the specific salary range for your preferred location during the hiring process.
