Financial Analyst
Contingent Upon Customer Approval
Purpose:
- Valkyrie is currently looking for an experienced Financial Analyst with government (Active Duty, Federal/Civilian) experience supporting NSWC financial and technical support.
Job Description:
The candidate would work directly with the Department managers and have the following duties/responsibilities:
- Assisting with command action items.
- Supporting high level technical actions/requests.
- Completing financial Actions to include, Congressional Appropriations Support, Forecasting, Budget Support, ERP Support.
- Interfacing with NSWC PHD Leadership.
- Developing presentations.
- Interact with branch and division managers.
Qualifications:
- Must have a bachelor's degree in engineering, financial or management discipline from an accredited college or university.
- Must have at least 10 years of government (Active Duty, Federal/Civilian) experience supporting NSWC financial and technical support.
- Must have at least 3 years' experience supporting Naval Surface Warfare Center (NSWC) or another working capital funded Naval Command in a government or military billeted position.
- Must be familiar with the structure and financial operations of NSWC or another working capital funded Naval Command technical and corporate departments and divisions.
- Must have at least 3 years of demonstrated data visualization experience with Power BI.
Desired Qualifications:
- Power BI certifications preferred.
- 3 years of demonstrated experience supporting congressional financial actions is preferred.
- 5 years demonstrated experience supporting NSWC Division Managers is preferred.
Security Requirements:
- The applicant must have an interim or fully adjudicated Secret Level Security Clearance to access military facilities and Naval installations.
Travel Requirements:
- Up to 50% travel
- If position requires travel by domestic flight or access to secure federal facilities/military bases, candidate must be able to obtain (by start of position) and maintain appropriate identification credentials, such as REAL ID. Physical Requirements:
- Remaining in a stationary position
- Often standing or sitting for prolonged periods
- Moving about to accomplish tasks or moving from one worksite to another.
- Communicating with others to exchange information.
- Repeating motions that may include the wrists, hands and/or fingers.
- Light work that includes moving objects up to 20 pounds

Pay Range: $80,000 - $110,000 per year
