Global regulatory compliance with e-invoicing and CTC (continuous transaction control) mandates presents a formidable and ongoing challenge for multinationals. The landscape of regulations governing indirect tax and the application of tax technologies is expanding but often involves a lack of uniformity among different regulatory bodies. This complexity, fragmentation, and evolving nature of compliance requirements necessitates a dedicated and knowledgeable team.

We are seeking an Associate to join Pagero - Part of Thomson Reuters' Regulatory Affairs (RA) team. The RA team has been instrumental in Pagero's successful global expansion, establishing our position as the global leader in e-invoicing and CTC compliance. This role offers a unique opportunity to contribute to a dynamic and critical area of our business, ensuring that we continue to lead and innovate in this essential field.

About the Role
In this opportunity as Regulatory Associate, you will:

  • Analyze and investigate requirements and legislation in markets that Pagero plans to enter
  • Maintain and monitor up-to-date knowledge of regulatory requirements in markets that Pagero currently supports
  • Create compliance related content, including blogs and updates, for internal and external readers
  • Collaborate with stakeholders for launching new markets including integration, marketing, delivery, and more departments
  • Present Pagero's compliance solutions and relevant business cases to customers, curated for both technical and c-level audiences
  • Address queries from internal and external stakeholders, ranging from simple to complex

About You
You're a fit for the role of Regulatory Associate if you have the following required qualifications:

  • Fluent in both spoken and written English
  • Relevant academic degree: ex. Business, Law, Economics, or similar with relevant work experience
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Strong ability to collaborate effectively within a team environment and document information clearly.
  • Familiarity with MS Office including Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Word and SharePoint
  • Experienced and/or eager to learn and stay informed about indirect tax, e-invoicing, and tax technology trends.
  • Successfully pass an extended background check (criminal and credit).

Additional preferred qualifications include:

  • Knowledge of other languages is highly merited, including French, German, Arabic, Mandarin and more (preferred, but not required)
  • Experience in ERP, B2B and data integration including solutions such as managed services (preferred, but not required)
  • Previous experience in compliance and regulatory analysis (preferred, but not required)

Thomson Reuters complies with local laws that require upfront disclosure of the expected pay range for a position. The base compensation range varies across locations.
For any eligible US locations, unless otherwise noted, the base compensation range for this role is $99,400 - $184,600.
This role may also be eligible for an Annual Bonus based on a combination of enterprise and individual performance.
Base pay is positioned within the range based on several factors including an individual's knowledge, skills and experience with consideration given to internal equity. Base pay is one part of a comprehensive Total Reward program which also includes flexible and supportive benefits and other wellbeing programs.
