Summary:

The Substance Use Treatment/PHP Clinician role is responsible individual intake and psychosocial assessments; clinical triage, group facilitation in an intensive outpatient setting, care coordination, documenting the findings of evaluations and progress in clients' medical record; conducting and documenting individual, couple and family counseling, maintaining contact with community resources for after care and providing comprehensive discharge planning services.

Required Minimum Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs)

  1. Education: Master's Degree in Social Work/Clinical Counseling from an institution accredited by the Council on Social Work/Counselor Education required.
  2. License/Certifications: Current applicable state(s) license as an LCSW (Licensed Clinical Social Worker) or LMSW-CC (Licensed Master Social Worker, Conditional Clinical) or LCPC (Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor) required. State license to practice as a LADC and CADC preferred.
  3. Experience: Two years of relevant experience in a substance abuse or mental health setting preferred.
  4. Additional Skills/Requirements Required: Experience with clinical methods and techniques used in individual, family and group therapy related to mental health and/or substance abuse issues.
  5. Additional Skills/Requirements Preferred: N/A
