The University of Missouri School of Medicine Department of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation (PM&R) Job Description
This Dual Posting is linked with Job ID 55759 (Nurse Practitioner) and only one candidate will be hired for the role, either Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner. This position will provide care for patients within the Department of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation (PM&R) through the use of the nursing process during consultations, treatments and follow-up care. This position will work collaboratively with PM&R physicians treating in a high volume clinic setting patients that have Traumatic Bring Injury, Spinal Cord Injury, Amputee and Stroke. The key duties of this position is: - Evaluation, management, treatment of PM&R patients following discharge from an acute care and post acute care hospitalization. Collaborate with the physician and other health care professionals in the development of treatment goals and care plans and coordinate services and treatments in order to implement and accomplish these goals and plans. Typically, Monday - Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Minimum Qualifications
Physicians Assistant (PA) licensure by the Missouri State Board of Registration for the Healing Arts. Anticipated Hiring Range
Hiring Range: $90,251.20 - $147,284.80 year Application Materials
