Your Role on the Team

Position Summary:

Develops processes to manage the initial intake of new requests to Information Services. Monitors new requests through the triage, discovery and scoping process led by Application Architecture function. Involves analysis and organization of business practices, processes and problems; developing solutions which may involve process design, data and information gathering enhancements. Develops forecasts, recommendations, and strategic / tactical plans based on business data and market knowledge. Assists in design and development of systems to effectively capture resource allocation tools. Applies business process and analysis concepts and department / unit and location policies and procedures to resolve a variety of business process problems. Works with business and / or clinical units to understand and prioritize data and information requirements. Creates specifications for reports and analysis based on business needs and required / available data elements.

Required Qualifications:

  • Willingness and ability to work occasional weekends and evenings
  • Understanding of system tools for managing requests, specifically SharePoint and Service Now
  • Strong interpersonal communication skills to effectively interface with internal and/or external customers
  • Prior experience facilitating communication in a rapidly changing environment
  • Must demonstrate customer service skills appropriate to the job
  • Knowledge of business process including financial and operational requirements of the Health System
  • Knowledge of business and process analysis functions.
  • Knowledge of MS Office Suite, Windows OS, and MAC OS
  • Demonstrated experience in process development and management of fast-paced intake of information and requests from a variety of sources
  • Demonstrated experience in categorization and cataloging of data
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and professional experience
  • Ability to take creative and abstract concepts and produce a documented request that can be vetted by a varied audience
  • Ability to read, write and communicate effectively in English
  • Ability to maintain a work pace appropriate to the workload
  • Ability to lead discussions toward decisions and measurable outcomes

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Skills associated with analysis of processes and issues of moderate scope, information flow and architecture.
  • Experience with resource allocation management
