We are seeking an experienced Business Analytics professional to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for gathering, documenting, and prioritizing project requirements, creating and managing user stories, defining acceptance criteria, and prioritizing user requests related to Business Intelligence and Analytics. The ideal candidate will act as a bridge between business and IT, leveraging strong analytical and communication skills to drive successful outcomes.

What You'll Do
  • Actively accompany the end-to-end development of reports/dashboards/tools used by your direct stakeholders and a diverse set of teams across the company.
  • Proactively perform data exploration and analytical deep dives to discover insights.
  • Act as a bridge between the business and IT, scaling access to insights that can empower better decision-making.
  • Balance handling ad hoc requests while also driving larger projects forward.
  • Act as Scrum master for all analytics teams, facilitating daily standups, sprint planning meetings, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.
What You'll Need
  • An engineering-minded analyst with a strong bias towards action, delivering results quickly with iteration instead of waiting for perfection.
  • Comfortable taking vague requirements and crystallizing them into valuable tools, metrics, or analysis.
  • Strong technical skills in manipulating large data sets with complex SQL and visualization tools (Power BI)
  • A self-starter that can work effectively in a fast-paced, ambiguous environment with changing priorities and minimally defined processes. as well as work independently to handle non-routine situations.
  • Have the ability to facilitate meetings, coach team members, and communicate effectively with stakeholders.
  • Experienced in managing stakeholder asks, expectations, and relationships across a variety of stakeholders.
  • Excellent critical thinking and problem-solving skills, strong relationship-building abilities, and a general understanding of data-driven decision-making.
  • Understanding of Agile methodologies, principles, and practices, and promoting a collaborative team environment that fosters creativity and innovation
  • 4+ years of relevant work experience in the data analysis field
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work with cross-functional teams
  • Strong understanding of SQL and experience with relational databases
  • Strong Excel skills and the ability to manage and analyze large sets of data
  • 2+ years experience using Power BI in creating complex reports, dashboards, visualizations, using DAX functions.
  • Strong proficiency with collaboration tools such as Jira and Confluence
  • Knowledge of data modeling principles and best practices.
  • Ability to prioritize and work on several tasks simultaneously
Your Education
  • BA/BS degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Finance, or other related area
