Video: What We Do

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Teamcenter PLM System Administrator to join our dynamic team at Chromalloy. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the administration, configuration, and maintenance of our Teamcenter Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) system. The ideal candidate will have substantial experience or a willingness to learn how to update and optimize an existing Teamcenter environment to better leverage CAD and CAM functionalities using MRL. This role requires a deep understanding of PLM processes and the ability to ensure the system operates efficiently to support our engineering and manufacturing teams.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Engineering Systems Helpdesk: Resolve tickets related to Siemens Teamcenter and NX CAD/CAM systems for internal customers.
  • Software Maintenance: Troubleshoot, patch, maintain, and upgrade Siemens Teamcenter and NX CAD/CAM applications and related software managed by the Engineering Systems Group.
  • System Administration: Perform system administrator tasks for various engineering software systems including user setup, modifications, and access control in Siemens Teamcenter and NX.
  • Benchmarking: Conduct and document computer performance benchmarking for Siemens software.
  • Software Suite Management: Support the management of a suite of engineering software, focusing on Siemens PLM and NX CAD/CAM tools.
  • Technical Expertise: Stay knowledgeable about Windows Client OS (Windows 10 or 11) and MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) to effectively support Siemens PLM/CAD/CAM users.
  • Communication: Exhibit excellent organizational, written, and oral communication skills to articulate technical information clearly and concisely.
  • Safety: Perform work in a safe manner and adhere to safety programs, processes, and procedures specific to the company and the Siemens NX environment.


Education & Experience:

  • Bachelor's in engineering or computer information systems management preferred.
  • 5+ years in Siemens Teamcenter PLM administration.
  • Eager to learn, proactive in addressing issues.
  • Detail-oriented, organized, self-starter, reliable.
  • Preferred experience in aerospace, medical device, or regulated industries.
  • Experience in NX CAD modeling and 5-axis CAM programming.
  • Experience in post-processors and machine digital twins is a plus.
  • Proficient in Siemens Teamcenter administration and BMIDE customization.
