Position Summary: The Quality Engineer performs all aspects required for proper evaluation and resolution of quality related matters and technical issues that may arise during manufacturing and maintenance of turbine engine components, and to support activities related to quality system requirements compliance. Develop, track, and provide statistical analysis, reports and metrics for quality related activities.

Key Responsibilities:



  • Support new product development and lead audits.
  • Engage in technical discussions with customers and regulators.
  • Partner with Engineering and Operations to document processes.
  • Implement new inspection technologies and quality strategies.
  • Conduct First Article Inspection Report (FAIR)
  • Establish Gage Repeatability & Reproducibility for critical measurement tools
  • Provide reports on quality project impacts and ensure QMS compliance with regulations.
  • Promote Operational Excellence using Lean and Six Sigma.
  • Lead root cause investigations and corrective actions.
  • Manage risk and drive process standardization.
  • Lead Built-in Quality Processes and maintain metrics.
  • Lead all phases of the Escape Management Process (containment, correction, prevention)
  • Train, coach, and mentor employees on quality control procedures.



Education & Experience:



  • BS in Engineering or equivalent with 3+ years in Quality Engineering, aerospace industry is preferred.
  • Knowledge of Quality Engineering processes and tools (PPAP, RCCA, APQP, SPC, AS9102 FAIR).
  • Experience with AS9100/AS9110, NADCAP, and regulatory requirements (FAA, EASA, CAAC).
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Six Sigma and Lean Manufacturing knowledge (Black Belt/Green Belt preferred).
  • Organizational skills for managing multiple projects.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills; proficiency in MS Office.
