Join our Center of Excellence (COE) team in Commercial and Money Movement Solutions, dedicated to ensuring the highest standards of operational excellence, cybersecurity and developer experience for CMS applications. Our team ensures we achieve 100% compliance with Visa's cybersecurity policies, maintains a robust and resilient infrastructure, and enhances developer experience and productivity through efficiency improvements. We are looking for a highly motivated team member to contribute to our mission by leveraging their expertise in operational excellence and developer experience. This role involves working collaboratively with cross-functional teams to support governance, oversee projects, communicate insights, and maintain operational excellence all while continuously seeking to improve our processes and product offerings.
Essential Functions
Ensure all Applications recorded within the Ask Now Configuration Management Database (CMDB) are accurate for Commercial Money Movement applications. Create a new Ask Now CMS Dashboard to support a centralised reporting view for COE, with real time data that will support effective monitoring, identifying, and addressing any discrepancies or issues in a timely manner. Deliver on SRU uplift FY commitments. Deliver on FY Operations Excellence commitments for ATO, VGAR, SIA, BIA, ACM, Data Privacy Attestations, Offline Backup Recovery etc. Provide visibility and full awareness of Operational Excellence items via metrics, dashboards and weekly/monthly reports with highest data quality and accuracy. Drive the developer experience initiative for key areas such as container improvements etc. Data Visualization: Create and manage insightful and visually appealing dashboards and reports using Tableau, PowerBI, and other data visualization tools. Governance Support: Ensure accurate Application Service data is recorded, including criticality, accessibility, and data privacy governance. Provide guidance and support to application owners.. Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including developers, product managers, and senior management, to understand data needs and deliver meaningful conclusions. Coordinate and facilitate meetings, documentation, and follow-ups. Communication: Present findings and recommendations to senior management, translating complex data into clear and actionable insights. Metrics and Reports: Monitor OKR progress, develop and maintain detailed reports and metrics, and provide management updates. Continuous Improvement: Stay updated with the latest industry trends and best practices to continuously improve data analysis, reporting processes, and product offerings. Collaborate with our Production Support (PRE) partners for CMS Applications to ensure production support readiness for new applications and continuous improvement for existing ones.
This is a hybrid position. Expectation of days in office will be confirmed by your Hiring Manager. Qualifications
Basic Qualifications:
* 2+ years of relevant work experience and a Bachelors degree, OR 5+ years of relevant work experience
Preferred Qualifications:
* 3 or more years of work experience with a Bachelor's Degree or more than 2 years of work experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD)
*Experience: 5 years of relevant work experience in operations management, product management, project management or a related role, with a proven track record of using technical knowledge and expertise.
* Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or a related field.
* Technical Skills: Knowledge or experience in containers, development lifecycle, operations management including high availability, SIA, ITDR etc.
* Proven ability to manage complex programs and initiatives.
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
* Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
* Excellent organizational and tracking skills. Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
* Detail-oriented with a strong focus on accuracy.
* Experience with risk management, incident management, and business continuity planning.
* Knowledge of ServiceNow and ITIL practices is a plus.
* Familiarity with Generative AI technologies is a plus.
* Process Improvement: Identify areas for improvement and suggest solutions to enhance existing processes.
* Communication: Excellent communication skills with the ability to convey complex data insights to team members, stakeholders (technical and non-technical), and other departments.
* Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
* Leadership: Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage multiple priorities.
* Experience or knowledge in DORA, SPACE, Flow, and other developer productivity metrics is a plus. Additional Information
Work Hours: Varies upon the needs of the department. Travel Requirements: This position requires travel5-10% of the time. Mental/Physical Requirements: This position will be performed in an office setting. U.S. APPLICANTS ONLY: The estimated salary range for a new hire into this position is 105,800.00 to 149,550.00 USD per year, which may include potential sales incentive payments (if applicable). Salary may vary depending on job-related factors which may include knowledge, skills, experience, and location. In addition, this position may be eligible for bonus and equity.
