Job Description

The Network Products & Solutions at Visa is focused on extending our network products and solutions portfolio, bringing innovative products to market and enhancing theCardholder, Issuer and Merchant experiences through new solutions. The Cardholder Experiences team is part of the Network Products & Solutions team and is specificallyfocused on Deliver expanded capabilities that can be exposed to cardholders. Build on existing Subscription Manager and Stop Payments products to supercharge subscription management and target recurring payment flows. The team is also responsible to successfully help execute on the2030 Network Products growth plan, and to deliver on revenue expectations.

We are currently seeking a Director for the Cardholder Experiences team within Network Processing. This role will support the launch of a new subscription management solution as well as manage existing products within the team's portfolio. In this position, you will have the opportunity to conceive new product ideas and conduct feasibility studies to identify the next value-added services for our clients. You will work closely with Technology and data scientists to drive product development and implementation, and contribute to the product commercialization strategy, including market prioritization. Additionally, you will create sales enablement materials, such as case studies, and lead client engagements to drive adoption. You will also develop actionable reports using analytical tools to monitor product performance and identify growth opportunities.

We are seeking motivated individuals who can provide thought leadership in developing scalable solutions and strategies that meet the evolving needs of clients and drive the execution of these strategies.

Essential Functions

Product Strategy, Development, and Management:

  • Develop and commercialize innovative solutions such as Recurring Payments Manager to create competitive differentiation and drive growth in the Subscription Management space.
  • Craft compelling product narratives and value propositions to effectively position Cardholder Experiences products and solutions (such as subscription management solutions) in the market.
  • Collaborate with regional products and VAS teams to understand and translate customer and market needs into valuable product solutions, incorporating customer feedback and market priorities.
  • Define and prioritize product features, evaluate build vs. buy vs. partner approaches, and identify the optimal go-to-market (GTM) strategies.
  • Work closely with global platform owners and core technology teams, both within and outside of Network Products, on the planning, prioritization, and execution of product roadmaps.

Commercialization:

  • Partner with global and regional teams, as well as sales and business development functions, to define GTM strategies that support the global launch and scaling of Cardholder Experience products and solutions (such as subscription management solutions).
  • Ensure alignment and clear communication of Cardholder Experience strategy and roadmap with regional and VAS teams, client servicing and other platform teams.

GTM Planning:

  • Prioritize market and plan the GTM pipeline (e.g., client/merchant/partner pipeline).
  • Develop a comprehensive GTM toolkit (e.g., technical overview documentation, product UX flow, sales engagement materials, marketing materials, product narrative for clients/partners).
  • Manage pricing approvals and contracting approaches (e.g., NBIA process, contract templates for different engagement models).
  • Determine the product roadmap, incorporating requirements and defects, tracking progress, and keeping stakeholders informed.
  • Set client/partner enablement targets with Global Product and market teams.

This is a hybrid position. Expectation of days in office will be confirmed by your Hiring Manager.

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications:

  • 10 or more years of relevant work experience with a Bachelors Degree or at least 2 years of work experience with an Advanced degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD) or 0 years of work experience with a PhD

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 12 or more years of work experience with a Bachelor's Degree or 8-10 years of experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD) or 6+ years of work experience with a PhD
  • Basic understanding of payment ecosystem, including card payment, real-time payment, digital wallets and cryptocurrency. 3 or more years of payment technology experience is a plus.
  • Experience in building new, unique, creative and impactful product concepts by integrating insights across multiple functional experts, and supporting collaborative solution development
  • Familiarity with API design and implementation is good to have
  • Strategic thinker who can balance big picture strategy and flawless execution with high attention to detail and quality for all work products
  • Competent at prioritizing and multi-tasking across a variety of programs and responsibilities
  • Strong interpersonal and executive verbal/written communication skills to drive alignment and support across cross-functional groups
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Highly organized with excellent multitasking skills and the ability to manage multiple disparate projects in parallel
Additional Information

Work Hours: Varies upon the needs of the department.

Travel Requirements: This position requires travel5-10% of the time.

Mental/Physical Requirements: This position will be performed in an office setting. The position will require the incumbent to sit and stand at a desk, communicate in person and by telephone, frequently operate standard office equipment, such as telephones and computers.

U.S. APPLICANTS ONLY: The estimated salary range for a new hire into this position is 178,400.00 to 258,750.00 USD per year, which may include potential sales incentive payments (if applicable). Salary may vary depending on job-related factors which may include knowledge, skills, experience, and location. In addition, this position may be eligible for bonus and equity.
