Job Description

What's it all about?

We're looking for a passionate, high-agency Agile Delivery Analyst to join Currencycloud (Visa). Your mission is to chase down and remove all impediments for a scrum team so you can all concentrate on quickly and sustainably delivering value for our customers and business.

Your work will be framed by three questions:

1. Quality requirements: Do the engineers and stakeholders have all the documentation and knowledge needed to deliver value for our customers and business?

2. Agile & lean practices: How can we ensure a culture of continuous learning when it comes to agile and lean practices?

3. Delivery Management: What can be done to identify and remove all impediments faced by the scrum teams in delivering value for our customers?

What we expect of you, day to day:

Quality requirements:

  • Ensuring requirements are at just the right level of detail to take into sprint, including functional & non-functional requirements.

  • Plan and facilitate workshops for the team and stakeholders to emphasis a collaborative approach to requirements definition.

  • Collaborating in the writing of epics and user stories

Delivery management:

  • Doing what is needed to unblock the scrum teams during the sprint

  • Reporting and managing operational delivery metrics

  • Create and maintain a delivery roadmap that outlines the prioritised features and milestones to achieve team and business objectives

  • Holding the team accountable for their delivery commitments and coaching continuous improvement

  • Drive the execution of deliverables across multiple teams and functions, proactively identifying and mitigating risks and issues, dependencies, and impacts.

  • Stakeholder management

Agile & lean practices:

  • Leading/coordinating standard agile ceremonies for business-critical initiatives and complex assignments related to size or technical build

  • Suggesting improvements to agile ways of working

  • Coaching scrum teams on agile best practices

This is a hybrid position. Expectation of days in office will be confirmed by your hiring manager.

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications

*5 or more years of relevant work experience with a Bachelors Degree or at least

2 years of work experience with an Advanced degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD,

MD) or 0 years of work experience with a PhD

*1 years + proven experience in an Agile Delivery Manager, Scrum Master or

Project Management role, preferably in a software-first Fintech or start-up

*In-depth knowledge of Agile process and principles, with real experience in

creating working environments that adhere to them

*Proven track record of chasing down impediments to deliver value for

customers and business

*Ability to communicate equally effectively with both technical and non-

technical stakeholders

*Preferably domain knowledge in Fintech - e.g. payments, FX, transaction

banking or trading

Preferred Qualifications

*6 or more years of work experience with a Bachelors Degree or 4 or more years

of relevant experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD)

or up to 3 years of relevant experience with a PhD

*A self-starter who takes accountability for getting things done

*Top-notch stakeholder management skills, including the ability to influence

colleagues in small, cross-functional scrum teams

*Comfortable challenging the status quo and always curious about the way

things work

*Great written and verbal communication skills

*Exceptional structure and attention to detail

Additional Information

Work Hours: Varies upon the needs of the department.

Travel Requirements: This position requires travel5-10% of the time.

Mental/Physical Requirements: This position will be performed in an office setting. The position will require the incumbent to sit and stand at a desk, communicate in person and by telephone, frequently operate standard office equipment, such as telephones and computers.

U.S. APPLICANTS ONLY: The estimated salary range for a new hire into this position is 131,400.00 to 190,750.00 USD per year, which may include potential sales incentive payments (if applicable). Salary may vary depending on job-related factors which may include knowledge, skills, experience, and location. In addition, this position may be eligible for bonus and equity. Visa has a comprehensive benefits package for which this position may be eligible that includes Medical, Dental, Vision, 401 (k), FSA/HSA, Life Insurance, Paid Time Off, and Wellness Program.
