JOB PURPOSE:

The Senior Director of Business Development will be responsible for developing, leading, and implementing the growth strategy for Endeavors, with a focus on local, state and federal grants and contracts. Will lead agency strategy, business development, pre-proposal shaping activities, teaming identification and partnerships, related capture activities during proposal phases, and post-submittal activities.

ESSENTIAL JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:



  • Develop and maintain key regulatory, legislative and local governmental relationships to meet strategic growth goals. Builds relationships with customers, suppliers, distributors, partners, and vendors.
  • Setting and delivering a strategic growth plan for Endeavors; and developing the tactical plan for delivery of the strategic plan, including setting related growth goals and delivering a budget for new opportunities and related expenses.
  • Direct the Business Development team members and perform all supervisory and employee development activities.
  • Ensure Endeavors is effectively represented in meetings, conferences, seminars, etc., at various national, state, and municipal levels, and in a position to present the advantages of our services whenever possible.
  • Communication with and engagement of the state and corporate senior leadership teams in delivering growth opportunities and relationship management.
  • Conduct market research to identify potential state, local, and government contracts and funding opportunities that align with Endeavors capabilities and strategic objectives
  • Collaborate with technical teams to develop compelling and competitive proposals in response to solicitations
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for customers, advocating for Endeavors service solutions and representing the organization at industry events and conferences
  • Approve contract negotiations, pricing approvals, RFP, RFI response and technical requirements.
  • Respond to RFP's, RFB's, LOI's, and other public documents in competitive situations.
  • Improve win performance and identify strategic opportunities through the evaluation of a standardized grants and contracts pipeline review across regions and service segments.
  • Proposes and develops strategic partnerships.
  • Helps to shape the company's long-term objectives and determine plans for how to meet them.
  • Researches and identifies new markets.
  • Other duties as assigned.

ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS:

EDUCATION: Bachelor's degree in related field of business, public administration, communication, law, or related. Master's degree preferred.

EXPERIENCE: Ten (10) to fifteen (15) years of experience in procurement, government contracting, grant based operations. Federal government, state, and local business development experience; proven track record of Federal contracting and procurement success; business development experience in the Department of Defense, federal agency, first responder sector, and/or State and Local Government.

ATTENDANCE: Must maintain regular and acceptable attendance at such level as is determined in the employer's sole discretion.

LICENSES: Driver's License with clear record.

VEHICLE: Must have daily use of a vehicle without prior notice.

OTHER: Must be available and willing to travel to various locations and with such frequency as the business need dictates.
