Job Purpose

To lead and support activities related to Quality and Manufacturing Improvements. Perform and support testing and evaluation of test reports. Perform product development activities including drawings QC Evaluations and interpretation and implementation of customer specifications and documentation requirements. Provide existing Ml3 support in manufacturing activities and in production. Perform coordinating function, providing countermeasure, improvement strategies. As well responsible for Test Group's overall operation, cross section training, and support cross functional problem analysis.

Key Accountabilities



  • Support Mass Production Improvements, investigations related to Specification and Testing.
  • Quality confirmation (New Model, Mass Production) testing and results preparation.
  • Lead, support and perform root cause analysis.
  • QE Project Lead over new models.
  • Creation and Reporting of Key Quality Indicators to Division Leadership.
  • Project Lead.
  • Capable of multitasking within each group.
  • Support Durability, Marketability and Denso groups with testing Know how
  • Serve as a technical expert in area of responsibility, sharing knowledge formally and informally with others.



Qualifications, Experience, and Skills



  • BA/BS in technical field, or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Product knowledge (MC/AUTO/ATV/SXS)
  • Understanding of manufacturing operations and concepts
  • Drawing interpretation (reading, making and understanding drawing intentions)
  • Confirm test results before seeking management approval
  • Understanding of Honda test and MQs procedure
  • Understanding of project management concepts and tools
  • Ability to lead complex issues and investigations related to product
  • Ability to present complex concepts to mixed audiences
  • Leader of groups with diverse backgrounds (engineering, technical, and administrative)



Working Conditions



  • Time is divided between office environment and production areas.
  • In production area must be able to stand for extended period or time.
  • Must be able to work flexible schedule including shifts and weekend (occasional).
  • Must be able to work overtime as necessary to support department/plant needs (short term and/or scheduled).
  • Must be willing to travel as required (<5%).
