Hybrid (In-office on Tuesdays)
Start date:
The role will start late June/Early July
Pay Rate:$45-50 per hour (DOE)

Schedule Notes:


  • The targeted start date is late June/early July
    to ensure sufficient time for training. (Crossover training will be for approx. two months)
  • The Maternity Leave coverage starts in September.
  • There is potential to extend after coverage.
  • This is a focused finance/operations role.


Job Description

  • Seeking a detail-oriented Royalty Analyst who will support the month end close process and our Global Partner Payments (GPP) operations.
  • The ideal candidate will assist with tasks related to month end closing and payment processing, partner set up, and resolving discrepancies.
  • This role requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to coordinate with internal teams and external partners.


Key Responsibilities

Operations

  • Manage partner inquiries related to royalty payments, statements, and discrepancies between royalty statements and payments.
  • Track and share suspension aging data with other Royalty regions and collaborate on global solutions for missing title transfer documents.
  • Collaborate with other Royalties Analysts to ensure the distributed statements include clear messaging on incomplete Title Transfers and discrepancies.
  • Review Domo VIR reports and ensure proper mapping execution in JEDI system.
  • Analyze suspensions in JEDI system to determine proper Global SPID mappings for regional vendors.
  • Managing communication with partners who have not completed their vendor setup.
  • Managing communication with partners who have outstanding incomplete Title Transfer process causing suspensions.
  • Collaborate with the GPS team in the Title Transfer processes.


Month End Close Support

  • Prepares journal entries and flux analysis as assigned
  • Prepares account reconciliation


Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 5-7 years of experience as an Accountant, Financial Analyst, or similar role, preferably in the gaming or media industry.
  • Strong understanding of financial processes, especially related to royalties and accounting.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with both finance professionals and non-finance stakeholders.
  • Ability to work with large datasets and identify discrepancies in financial records.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
  • Experience working within a fast pace changing environment while maintaining multiple deadlines.
  • Royalty Experience a plus.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel (Vlookup/Xlookup, SUMIF, Pivot Table).
  • Proficiency in data analysis tools and financial systems (Domo, Business Object, SAP) is a plus.


Ideal Candidate:

  • Someone who is eager to learn and willing to train, ask questions etc.
  • Must have experience with month end closing and must be skilled with journal entries.
  • Operations side - Must be forward thinking, sees the big picture, highly analytical, can spot operational gaps.
  • Candidates must be comfortable with large data sets.



Estimated Min Rate: $45.00
Estimated Max Rate: $50.00
