AGE Solutions is looking for an Engineering Subject Matter Specialist to provide technical knowledge and analysis of highly specialized applications and operational environment along with systems analysis, design, integration, documentation, and implementation advice on complex problems and systems on the Local Area Network (LAN).

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:



  • Provide strategic direction and objectives recommendations for the program, including development and recommendations for technology enhancements; program organization and communications, functions, staffing; program schedule updates; and enhancements to risk management, testing, deployment, and training.
  • Evaluate the introduction of new sites for development of LAN architecture, services and products.
  • Plan, design, implement, test and/or deploy new products including Wireless Network design, installation and support.
  • Develop, analyze, determine requirements for specific technology initiatives and refine requirements for the development of design solutions.
  • Enhance DLA's operational efficiency and alignment with industry leading best practice and methodologies
  • Review existing processes and procedures and analyze against industry best practices.
  • Identify areas for process improvement concerning all phases of the LAN management lifecycle.
  • Evaluate new and emerging technologies and platforms and evaluate the performance of existing LAN systems and equipment.


Required Skills, Qualifications and Experience:



  • Citizenship and Clearance:

    • US Citizenship is required.
    • Must have and maintain a current DoD Secret clearance.


  • Experience:

    • 5 years of relevant experience
    • Experience participating in all project lifecycle phases to include planning, analysis, modeling, simulation, testing, integration, documentation and presentation phases.


  • Certifications:

    • IAM-II certification (one of the following):

      • CAP
      • CASP+CE
      • CISSP (Associate)
      • CISM
      • GSLC
      • CCNA Security


    • CE Certification (one of the following):

      • CCNA
      • CCNA-E
      • CCNP
      • CCIE




  • Location: This is a remote position within the United States requiring minimal travel.


Compensation: $140,000 - $150,000
