Bally's also has rights to developable land in Las Vegas at the site of the former Tropicana Las Vegas. The Role: Accurately and promptly handle all money transactions for customers. Responsibilities:
- Maintain a pleasant, friendly, and welcoming attitude toward all external and internal customers at all times.
- Redeem chips for customers.
- Promptly cash customers out, give correct change, and answer customer questions in a courteous and professional manner.
- Accurately count and record assigned funds and make exchanges of funds throughout the shift.
- Keep cash drawer balanced.
- Make exchanges with main bank.
- Verify and document personal identification information for check and cash advance transactions.
- Complete CTRs, MTLs, and all other required documentation.
- Assure that guests have a favorable gaming experience.
- Track and issue player cards for new and existing accounts.
- Redeem points from customers' accounts for cash, prizes, or comps.
- Assist with special events and giveaways.
- Assist customers with any and all requests or needs.
- Keep work area in a clean and orderly manner.
- Ensure the safety and security of all customers and team members.
- Understand and adhere to all Missouri Gaming Commission regulations and any other applicable federal, state, and/or local regulations.
- Comply with all policies and procedures established by Bally's Kansas City and departmental management.
- Other duties as assigned or any reasonable request from any member of management.
Qualifications:
- At least six months of cashier or banking experience is required.
- Must obtain and maintain Missouri Gaming Commission occupational license.
- Basic mathematical skills are required.
- Appropriate use of office equipment, including personal computers, 10 key calculators, jet sorters, photocopiers, fax machines, telephones with voice mail system, and currency counters.
- Familiarity with credit/debit card advance system and check guarantee system.
- Must be able to work any assigned shift, including late nights, weekends, holidays, and overtime.
- Read, write, and understand somewhat complex instructions and appropriately complete all necessary documentation.
- Communicate appropriately with all casino customers, casino departments, and fellow team members.
- Accurately perform all assigned job duties in a high-volume, fast-paced environment under frequent time pressures.
