The Role:

Responsible for ensuring compliance with all regulations within the area of responsibility and reporting potential issues to management.

Responsibilities:

Performs the daily Title 31/AML audit utilizing cash tracking software and all available casino information to ensure complete, property-wide adherence.
Reviews and research casino documentation for transactions that may result in the filing of SARs.
Prepares CTRs and SARs for review by the Compliance Manager and timely filing.
Maintains accurate, detailed records and provide support to Compliance Manager.
Audits events and procedures to ensure compliance with Title 31 and internal controls.
Investigates and assist in resolving issues of compliance for all areas of the casino.
Assists in reviewing processes and procedures to determine where improvement may be needed and effectiveness related to regulatory standards, including Title 31, SOX and NGCB.
Assists in development of related internal controls, policies and procedures.
Assists in monitoring employee compliance training programs.
Liaises as necessary with Internal/External Auditors, IRS and NGCB personnel to ensure a courteous and professional relationship
Maintains organized set of detailed records and files to document transactions
Supports, actively promotes, and demonstrates superior customer service in accordance with department and company standards and programs.
Maintains strict confidentiality in all departmental and company matters.

Qualifications:

High School Diploma or GED. One or more years' experience in compliance or governmental affairs preferred; Casino experience required.
Must be proficient in Microsoft applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook).
Must have knowledge of cash tracking software, Title 31/Anti-Money Laundering and Mississippi Gaming regulations
Must have knowledge of Casino Operations software and equipment.
Must be able to obtain a Mississippi Gaming Work Permit.
Must have excellent organization and communication skills.
Must possess excellent oral and written communication skills.
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.
Must possess exceptional investigative skills.
Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.
Must have the ability to interact with guests, and colleagues and resolve problems in a diplomatic and tactful manner.

Training
All employees are required to complete mandatory compliance training within thirty (30) days of hire date, then annually thereafter. Training marked with an asterisk below must be completed prior to reporting to their respective work area. The below courses are required for this position:
