The Opportunity: The Business Systems Analyst II is responsible for supporting research information systems as part of the Graduate and Research IT (GRIT) team in the Office of Research. Primary responsibilities include supporting the university's electronic research administration system, the Huron Research Suite (HRS). The analyst serves as a liaison between various stakeholders, including business users, management, and IT teams, to ensure effective communication and collaboration. In this position, you will provide systems administration and support by managing help desk tickets submitted by end-users reporting system issues and/or submitting enhancement requests. You will also be responsible for supporting system upgrades. The analyst must have excellent communication skills (both written and verbal) with the ability to effectively interact with multiple groups of business stakeholders with diverse priorities. This position will also collaborate with GRIT's Reporting and Analytics team to create and manage reports for business stakeholders (Please note this is not a data analyst position). Special Instructions to the Applicants: The anticipated salary range for this position is $65,000 to $85,000. The final rate will be determined based on the candidate's qualifications, experience, and internal equity considerations. Applicants must be authorized to work for any U.S. employer, as sponsorship is not available for this position. Applicants must reside within driving distance of the main campus in Orlando. Hybrid/Remote work will be considered for the right candidate. Occasional evening and weekend work may be necessary for specific system events which are planned and communicated in advance.
