Gorman and Company is looking for a talented and energetic person to join our team as our part-time Graphic Design Assistant for The Stella Hotel and Ballroom in Kenosha, WI, The Brewhouse Inn & Suites in Milwaukee, WI, and The Embassy Suites in Rockford, IL. As the Graphic Design Assistant, you will be responsible for assisting in supporting the development and execution of creative assets across print and digital platforms, ensuring all materials align with brand standards. This role assists in producing marketing materials, managing visual content for social media, and contributing to promotional campaigns.

Assist in the creation of graphic materials for marketing needs, may include: flyers, social media graphics, menus, email headers, brochures, posters, etc.
2.
Produce and maintain on-brand creative assets for hotel and restaurant promotions, events, and campaigns.
3.
Assist with maintaining visual consistency across print and digital platforms, adhering to brand guidelines.
4.
Assist with social media tasks such as designing post graphics, scheduling content, and light community engagement.
5.
Maintain a library of creative assets and assist with versioning or editing existing materials.
6.
Provide fresh ideas and creative input during campaign brainstorming sessions.
7.
Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications Graphic Design Assistant:
1.
Currently pursuing or recently graduated with an associates or bachelor's degree in graphic design, marketing, communications, or other related field.
2.
Working knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite, InDesign, Illustrator, and Photoshop.
3.
Familiarity with Canva and social mediate platforms such as Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn.
4.
Basic understanding of layout design, typography, and digital file formats.
5.
Ability to take direction, manage feedback, and work independently.
6.
Detail-oriented, creative, and eager to learn in a fast-paced environment.
7.
Photography and/or video editing skills preferred.
8.
Ability to travel for content shoots or meetings as needed.
