The Learning & Development Program Manager will be a key part of the Global Talent Development team, ensuring we bring the best learning and development solutions to all Agilent employees.

You will partner across the organization to develop and implement content to enhance skill development and create career roadmaps and learning pathways. This role will involve consulting new ideas, crafting ways forward, pushing the boundary on how we approach learning and testing new modalities to ensure the best learning experiences are aligned with the needs of Agilent.

Key responsibilities will include:
- Identifies ongoing content needs to support existing and emerging capabilities and skills needed across the organization; curates new content from a variety of sources (internal and external) to support the capabilities needed; ensures growth mindset and continuous learning are grounded in the Agilent culture.
- Creates career pathways and/or learning maps to guide employees through building skills or capabilities.
- Works with the Global Talent Development team to ensure companywide visibility of the available offerings within the various learning portfolios and helps to drive usage and consumption of our learning products.
- Leads projects through the learning design and development lifecycle, including conducting needs analysis, setting success metrics, creating and managing the development of instructional materials; designs and develops new learning programs in support of Agilent Talent Development strategy.
- Partners with vendors, Educational Institutions, Government Agencies and Funding Partners to ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope and within budget, meeting the needs of learners across the organization.
- Develops and delivers in-person instructor-led, virtual instructor-led, and eLearning content, including but not limited to on-demand modules, webinars, podcasts, videos, PowerPoint presentations, course quizzes, activity handouts, infographics, and other instructional materials.
- Leverage the Learning Management System (SuccessFactors) to build scalable online learning content and reporting.
- Analyze organizational and learner data to identify development needs and return on investment of programs.
- Establishes metrics to assess the effectiveness of learning programs and use data-driven insights to continuously improve, enhance, and report.
- Partners with AVP on talent management initiatives, including talent reviews, succession planning, and executive development programs.
This position will work a hybrid schedule and must be able to go onsite to the Santa Clara office 2-3 days a week.
Qualifications
Qualifications include but are not limited to:
- Bachelor's, Master's or other University level degree or equivalent combination of education, training and hands on experience. Preferred degree areas include Instructional Design, Adult Learning, Business, Marketing, Communication, or similar/related field.
- 10+ years' relevant experience including delivering full life cycle learning content design, creation, facilitation, implementation, or management of adult learning programs in a corporate setting.
- Experience with SuccessFactors LMS to generate SCORM-compliant e-Learning content hosted and delivered through a learning management system; provides recommendations as to the imagery, modeling, animation, rendering and various other multimedia formats is required.
- Solid program/ project management experience with the ability to juggle and prioritize tasks and deliverables is a must.
- Experience in utilizing a multitude of learning modalities, including but not limited to, virtual instructor-led sessions, eLearn creation, video scripting, live-led sessions, multimedia production (video, audio, graphics), HTML, SharePoint, and SCORM is required.
- Experience using PowerPoint, Articulate 360, Vyond, TEAMS, Co-Pilot, or similar design and development software to design and develop engaging and effective eLearning content tailored to various needs and learning styles.
- May serve as a back-up to the Learning Management System(LMS) team to consult and advise on training set-up, review, and testing.
- Familiarity with gamification, microlearning, app creation, and mobile learning is a plus.
- Certification in eLearning or instructional design. (e.g., ATD's Certified) Professional in Learning and Performance (CPLP) certification) is a plus.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with experience using data analytics tools like Qlik, Power BI, or similar is a plus.
- Experience working as a part of a matrixed, global organization is strongly preferred.
- Outstanding organizational, facilitation, team collaboration, and communication skills.

The full-time equivalent pay range for this position is $167,328.00 - $261,450.00/yr plus eligibility for bonus, stock and benefits. Our pay ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
