Human Resources Analyst (Short-Term) Job ID: 321359 Location: Rio Salado Community College Full/Part Time: Regular/Temporary: Regular Salary Range $51,558 - $67,025/annually, DOE Grade 114 Work Schedule The standard work schedule will be Monday - Friday 8:00am - 5:00pm during the Academic Year. 7:00am - 6:00pm during the Summer Months This position offers remote work allowing employees a combination of onsite and work from home options based upon the needs of the department. Work Calendar 12 Months Funding Information This is a short term assignment with a projected end date of 06/30/2026 with renewal based on available funds and the needs of MCCCD. This role is essential in delivering impactful programs that drive employee success and include college-wide training and development, onboarding, offboarding, wellness initiatives, engagement events, and recognition programs. You will excel in a fast-paced environment, supporting the administration and implementation of these key programs while leveraging your technical and analytical skills. As a trusted partner, you'll collaborate with leadership, management, faculty, and staff, ensuring that each program is executed with energy and precision. Essential Functions 55% - Serves as lead for Rio Salado College New Employee Orientation and Onboarding programs; assists in design, maintenance, and coordination/facilitation of college wide employee development programs, including in-person and virtual training on various college focused training, District training initiatives, and college HR and District related topics; designs, develops and maintains EERC website; assists with college employee events; coordinates special projects including researching, creating, testing, recommending and implementing approved programs. 35% - Provides training, guidance and/or orientation to staff; provides information, conducts annual learning needs assessment and/or analysis, provides technical assistance, consultation, and compliance monitoring regarding applicable laws, policies, rules, and regulations; performs professional research and analysis related to the current or future functions, programs and/or projects. 10% - Provides consultative advice and/or serves as an organizational development resource for the development, delivery, and/or conducting formal needs assessment of employee and organizational learning programs for the college, e.g., employee development group, college-based employee development committees, etc.; performs other duties as assigned. Minimum Qualifications Bachelor's Degree from a regionally accredited institution in human resources or related field and two years of professional level human resources experience in area of assignment which includes specialized knowledge of human resources policies and practices related to the administration and implementation of programs. OR An equivalent combination of the conferred degree and directly related full-time work experience as described above sufficient to successfully perform the essential duties of the job such as those listed above, unless otherwise subject to any other requirements set forth in law or regulation, may be considered. Desired Qualifications A. Three (3) or more years of experience providing training and support in an higher education setting B. Three (3) or more years of experience working in a collaborative, interdisciplinary environment C. Three (3) or more years of experience successfully managing multiple training development projects D. Three (3) or more years of full-time experience developing and maintaining data systems E. Three (3) or more years of full-time experience developing/creating correspondence, spreadsheets, and creating/conducting presentations utilizing a variety of software such as those seen in Microsoft Office Suite or Google Suite F. Three (3) or more years of full-time experience with an online Human Capital Management system such as PeopleSoft Special Working Conditions May be required to work at multiple sites or locations; May require numerous evenings or weekends; May require prolonged periods of viewing a computer screen; May be required to lift or carry up to 25 lbs.
