The standard work schedule will be Monday - Friday 8:00am - 5:00pm during the Academic Year.

7:00am - 6:00pm during the Summer Months

This position offers remote work allowing employees a combination of onsite and work from home options. The expected remote work schedule for this position is determined by the needs of the department.

Job Summary

This position is the leader of the Employee Engagement and Resource Center and the catalyst for creative, impactful, and engaging employee programs. This role serves as the primary contact for all employee training initiatives including onboarding, offboarding, training and development, employee resources, engagement events, wellness initiatives, as well as employee awards and recognition. This position leads the implementation of innovative programs, supervises an HR Analyst, and provides strategic consultation to foster the professional growth and development of employees throughout the college.

Essential Functions

55% - Leads dynamic conversations focused on employee training, development and engagement, fostering an environment of growth and collaboration. Performs leadership tasks related to hiring, training, supervising, and evaluating staff, ensuring high performance and engagement. Partners with leadership throughout the college to drive the success of impactful programs such as onboarding, training, monthly supervisor meetings, awards and recognition programs, and wellness initiatives. Partners closely with managers to navigate operational challenges, fostering a smooth and engaging experience for employees.

35% - Leads the creation and execution of innovative program strategies, goals, and objectives that align with the college's strategic pathways. Ensures program and employee records are meticulously organized and current, while crafting insightful reports and using data to inform strategic decisions. Champions initiatives that support the college's vision, driving the impactful and inspiring delivery of employee development and engagement programs.

10% - Oversees the resolution of escalated issues and customer concerns, acting as a trusted liaison with both internal and external stakeholders. Proactively identifies resource needs and recommends creative solutions, collaborating with college teams to integrate best practices and cutting-edge technologies. Champions compliance with regulations, policies, and audit standards, while coordinating exciting staff learning and training opportunities. Performs other related duties as needed, maintaining flexibility and a commitment to excellence.

Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree from a regionally accredited institution in education, business or public administration, or related field, four years of related program management experience that includes two years of lead or senior level work, preferably in an educational setting.

OR

An equivalent combination of the conferred degree and directly related full-time work experience as described above sufficient to successfully perform the essential duties of the job such as those listed above, unless otherwise subject to any other requirements set forth in law or regulation, may be considered.

Desired Qualifications

A. Proven Expertise in Communication - At least 4 years of experience utilizing exceptional verbal and written communication skills to engage and inspire others in a training and development setting.
B. Dynamic Training and Presentation Skills - 4 or more years of experience delivering impactful training sessions and presentations that captivate and educate a wide range of audiences.
C. Proven Leadership Experience - At least 3 years of supervisory experience, empowering teams to achieve excellence, fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture.
D. Regulatory Expertise - At least 3 years of experience in interpreting and applying relevant laws, guidelines, regulations, and policies, ensuring compliance while driving innovative training solutions.
E. Strong Analytical and Problem-Solving Abilities - Demonstrated experience applying strong analytical and problem-solving skills to develop and implement effective training programs that align with strategic goals and improve employee engagement.
F. Proficiency with Key Tools - At least 4 years of experience with Google Workspace, Microsoft Office Suite, or related software, leveraging technology to streamline training initiatives and boost productivity.

Special Working Conditions

May require working early morning, evening and/or weekend hours. May requite prolonged computer viewing. May be required to work at multiple sites or locations.
