Job Summary

The Innovation and Solutions Team at NetApp is seeking a talented Solutions Engineer to collaborate closely with customers and partners, ensuring successful cloud journeys and driving the adoption of NetApp products and services. As a Solutions Engineer, you will leverage your strong understanding of cloud, AI, and data platforms to develop reference designs for innovative solutions, train sales teams, engage with technology partners, speak at industry events, and provide valuable feedback to product teams for continuous improvement.

You will create proof-of-concept solutions that demonstrate the powerful capabilities of NetApp products and services across public cloud environments, with a focus on AI, Analytics, and Generative AI. Additionally, you will develop and showcase compelling demonstrations, author insightful blogs, and produce solution content that makes the NetApp portfolio accessible and appealing to both current and prospective customers.

As an innovator, you will explore new and creative applications of the NetApp portfolio, staying ahead of technology trends in storage, data management, AI, and public cloud. The ideal candidate is a proactive self-starter, comfortable working with limited supervision, and possesses a deep understanding of data and storage technologies. Experience with the NetApp portfolio is a strong advantage.

Job Requirements
  • Develop new solutions and create associated enablement tools such as automation scripts, reference designs, videos, blogs etc.
  • Work with customers pre and post sales to ensure their success
  • Develop enablement curriculum and train technical sales and services teams
  • Present to customers and partners at industry events
  • Influence technology strategy for current and future projects communicating strategic directions to management for adoption
  • Customer-centric approach: Interact frequently with customers to understand requirements and act as a customer advocate to product planning
  • Translate customer requirements into viable solutions
Minimum Qualifications
  • Experience working with one or more public clouds (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and experience working with one or more data platforms (such as Databricks or Snowflake)
  • Experience with cloud native application development and technologies
  • Understanding of cloud customer trends, use cases, technologies, and buyers
  • Demonstrated ability to lead a high-impact technical engagement with a customer/partner
  • Excellent communication skills and experience producing well-documented code samples, demos, tutorials, and blogs/vlogs
  • Ability to lead across business unit teams and have strong influencing skills at the Senior and Executive levels
  • The ability to work across teams with limited supervision
  • Experience with ONTAP, Instaclustr, or BlueXP a plus
  • Requires a minimum of 3years ofexperience with storage technologies.
  • Requires a minimum of 8 years working in customer facing environments.
  • Requires a minimum of 5 years of experience in solution development.

Compensation:
The target salary range for this position is 180,200 - 268,400 USD. The salary offered will be determined by the candidate's location, qualifications, experience, and education and may be outside of this range. Final compensation packages are competitive and in line with industry standards, reflecting a variety of factors, and include a comprehensive benefits package. This may cover Health Insurance, Life Insurance, Retirement or Pension Plans, Paid Time Off (PTO), various Leave options, Performance-Based Incentives, employee stock purchase plan, and/or restricted stocks (RSU's), with all offerings subject to regional variations and governed by local laws, regulations, and company policies.
