Job Summary

Design, implement and maintain the security of IoT and medical devices security program working closely with various team such as clinical engineering team and networking team.

Essential Functions

• Interacts with co-workers, visitors, and other staff consistent with the values of Jefferson.
• Execute security strategies for IoT and medical devices
• Lead the establishment and upkeep of an asset inventory

• Execute regular CMDB reconciliations

• Collaborate with the clinical engineering team

• Manage downtime coordination for micro-segmentation efforts

• Partner with the clinical engineering team

• Mentor junior team members

• Support security incident remediation in collaboration with various security teams

Competencies (Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Required):

Expert in IoT and medical device security principles and practices

Proficiency with asset management and CMDB reconciliation processes

Knowledge of micro segmentation strategies and their application in healthcare settings.

Familiarity with regulatory standards related to medical devices (e.g., HIPAA, FDA guidelines)

Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with clinical engineering and other departments

Strong analytical skills to assess risks and implement appropriate security measure

Ability to mentor junior members of the team

Strong project management skills

High School Diploma Required; Bachelor's Degree preferred
