OSI Systems is seeking a Sustanability Manager who will be responsible for developing and communicating the Company's sustainability strategy, promoting stakeholder engagement, collecting and analyzing sustainability data and metrics, facilitating the Company's sustainability reporting, and promoting sustainability innovation, education and leadership across the organization. Selected candidate will create and communicate a clear and coherent sustainability strategy for the corporation in alignment with the corporation's overall business objectives, as well as with relevant standards, frameworks and regulations, such as the Global Reporting Initiative (GRI), the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) or the Task Force on Climate-related Financial Disclosures (TCFD). They will conduct sustainability assessments, identify material issues, set goals and targets, and develop action plans and indicators. This individual will engage with various internal and external stakeholders, such as employees, customers, suppliers, investors, regulators, NGOs and communities. They will prepare and publish regular and transparent sustainability reports that disclose the corporation's sustainability impacts, risks and opportunities. They will also collect, analyze and verify data and information from various sources, and present them in a clear, concise and consistent manner. They may respond to external requests and surveys from rating agencies, media or other stakeholders. The successful candidate will monitor and evaluate the outcomes and impacts of sustainability innovation projects, and share best practices and lessons learned. Additionally, they will design and deliver training programs, workshops and events that raise awareness, build knowledge and develop skills on sustainability topics.


Responsibilities

  • Champion sustainability program throughout corporate environment.
  • Create sustainability strategies.
  • Communicate and promote sustainability strategy and initiatives.
  • Manage ESG/GHG data management platform for global organization.
  • Set and track KPIs to demonstrate impact and identify areas for improvement.
  • Analyze the organization's environmental dependencies, impacts, risks and opportunities.
  • Advocate for sustainability within the company and encourage continuous improvement.
  • Lead Company's GHG/climate reporting efforts.
  • Administer the data collection platform, analyze GHG/climate data, prepare reports.
  • Advise leadership on new and/or pending regulations related to climate risk and disclosures.
  • Train stakeholders on sustainability awareness, initiatives, and data collection.
  • Uphold the company's core values of Integrity, Innovation, Accountability, and Teamwork.
  • Demonstrate behavior consistent with the company's Code of Ethics and Conduct.
  • It is the responsibility of every employee to report to their manager or a member of senior management any quality problems or defects in order for corrective action to be implemented and to avoid recurrence of the problem.
  • Duties may be modified or assigned at any time to meet the needs of the business.

Qualifications

  • B.S. in Environmental Science or a related field required.
  • 3+ years of environmental or sustainability management experience required.
  • Must be familiar with the sustainability reporting frameworks, such as Carbon Disclosure Project (CDP), Global Reporting Initiative (GRI), and related climate disclosure mechanisms.
  • Experience in a manufacturing environment strongly desired.
  • Must have strong communication skills and be able to communicate with and influence stakeholders at all levels within each organization.
  • Must be able to travel domestically up to 10% of the time.
