Overview

Join our Engineering Platforms and Practice group, the team responsible for defining and delivering software governance standards and tooling across the entire organization. Our mission is to create a frictionless software delivery experience while safeguarding the integrity of the software supply chain. As a Senior Engineer, you'll help lead the transformation of our SDLC governance landscape. You'll bring your expertise to ensure application deployment, operations, and compliance run seamlessly. What You'll Do

  • Design, deploy, and maintain development tools that support the Firm's software delivery lifecycle

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver automation for deployments, upgrades, and migrations

  • Act as a subject matter expert in software development life cycle (SDLC) tooling and platform operations

  • Partner with the product owner and engineering teams to support daily tasks and long-term projects

  • Mentor and guide team members in technical design and code reviews

  • Ensure compliance with internal security, release, and governance standards

Skills You'll Need

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent required

  • Strong background in DevOps, Site Reliability Engineering (SRE), or application support

  • Expertise in Windows, Linux/UNIX, and web/application servers (e.g., Tomcat, Nginx)

  • Scripting and automation proficiency (Python, Shell)

  • Working knowledge of container technologies (Docker, Kubernetes, Helm)

  • Familiarity with SDLC processes, Agile methodologies, and development toolchains

Skills That Will Help You Excel

  • Experience with monitoring and observability tools (Prometheus, Grafana)

  • Familiarity with cloud platforms (GCP, Azure)

  • Knowledge of database administration (Oracle, Postgres)

  • Exposure to Java-based application support and troubleshooting

  • Experience administering DevOps

Expectations

It is the Bank's expectation that employees hired into this role will work in the Cary office in accordance with the Bank's hybrid working model.

The salary range for this position in Cary is $100,000 to $142,250.Actual salaries may be based on a number of factors including, but not limited to, a candidate's skill set, experience, education, work location and other qualifications. Posted salary ranges do not include incentive compensation or any other type of remuneration.
