Secretarial/Clerical/Secretary 5/28/2025 WEST ASSISTANT PRINCIPAL OPERATIONS 25-26 School Year 06/11/2025 Secretary REPORTS TO: This job reports to the Department Administrator POSITION OBJECTIVE: The job of Secretary is done for the purpose/s of providing secretarial support to a department; establishing and maintaining records; compiling and distributing materials and reports; and responding to inquiries from a variety of internal and external sources. RESPONSIBILITY Responsibilities include: working under limited supervision following standardized practices and/or methods; providing information and/or advising others; utilization of some resources from other work units is often required to perform the job's functions. There is a continual opportunity to have some impact on the organization's services. WORKING ENVIRONMENT The usual and customary methods of performing the job's functions require the following physical demands: some lifting, carrying, pushing, and/or pulling, some stooping, kneeling, crouching, and/or crawling and significant fine finger dexterity. Generally the job requires 50% sitting, 25% walking, and 25% standing. This job is performed in a generally clean and healthy environment.
