is hiring 45 temporary, full-time Cooks from 3/11/25 to 1/10/26 in Asheville, NC.

Job Duties: Produce consistent high quality food products according to recipes, menus or assigned specials in a timely, organized manner; ensure a high level of sanitation and safety at all times.

No minimum education required. 3 months hotel/resort Cook (non-fast food) experience required. On the job training provided.

Minimum 35 hours per week. Open 7 days per week. Normal shift times: 5:00am-1:30pm, 7:00am-3:30pm, 10:00am-6:00pm, 1:00pm-9:30pm, 3:00pm-11:30pm, 4:00pm-12:30am. Hours and shift times may vary with occupancy.

Basic rate of pay: $20.00 per hour. Employer may increase wage based on experience and/or provide additional pay for performance and tenure. Overtime hours may be available, but not guaranteed. Overtime rate of pay: $30.00 per hour.

A single workweek will be used to compute wages due. Pay received biweekly. Employer will make all deductions from the worker's paycheck required by law.

Optional employee shared housing within walking distance to worksite, approximate cost $115 per week payroll deducted if worker elects. Resort employees have free access to city bus; bus stop less than half a mile from worksite.

Employer will provide worker at no charge all tools, supplies, and equipment required to perform job. Required uniform provided. One optional meal available in employee cafeteria during shift for $2.50.

Employer guarantees to offer work for hours equal to at least three-fourths of the workdays in each 12-week period of the total employment period.

Employer will reimburse H-2B workers in the first workweek for all visa, visa processing, border crossing, and other related fees, including those mandated by the government (excluding passport fees).

If worker completes half the employment period, employer will arrange and pay directly for transportation and subsistence from the place of recruitment to the place of work. Upon completion of the employment period or where the worker is dismissed earlier, the employer will provide or pay for worker's reasonable costs of return transportation and subsistence back home or to the place the worker originally departed to work, except where the worker will not return due to subsequent
