Purpose & Scope

The Senior Analyst, Commercial Analytics will be an inquisitive and proactive business partner who leads the forecasting, analysis, and reporting of data from relevant data sources for the purpose of measuring and assessing performance, with the goal of developing and communicating high-impact business insights. The role will be key analytics point of contact for both the Urology-Oncology and Men's Health Business Units.

This role is also responsible for building/evolving a suite of standard reports at the territory, national, and senior leadership level to direct territory priorities and business decisions. The Senior Analyst will analyze the sales force performance including the measurement of territory and region volume performance, alignment of the sales force, targeting, sales force call activity and effectiveness. This role is a key point of interface and communication with the sales force on analysis critical to supporting effective sales performance.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities



  • Reporting & Data Analysis

    • Refine large quantities of information into concise, useful, and meaningful management reports, with an emphasis on providing timely and accurate answers to key business questions
    • Proactively conducts brand and market analysis to identify trends and potential trends/issues, develops recommendations for potential business responses


  • Forecasting

    • Work with business unit and sales leadership to develop and refine revenue forecasts through changing business and market conditions
    • Track performance against these forecasts and perform analysis to understand performance against forecast


  • Sales Operations

    • Work with sales leadership to develop Sales Incentive Plans; measure and track sales incentive performance throughout the year
    • Ensure accurate alignment of the sales force


  • Assists with Ad-Hoc/Special Projects as required



Knowledge, Skills & Abilities



  • High proficiency in Excel (advanced formulas and some VBA experience)
  • Proficiency in SQL. Experience with additional data handling languages, such as Python, is a plus
  • Strong project management, analytical, and financial modeling experience
  • Self-starter with the ability to build new capabilities over time
  • Ability to work with imperfect data and manage ambiguity to support business decisions
  • Ability to work independently on data analyses and combine multiple data sources across multiple views to uncover trends
  • Great business sense with presence to share thoughts and make a difference
  • Excellent organizational, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills

Education & Experience



  • Bachelor's Degree or higher in Finance, Business, Accounting, Science, Math, or Computer Science or other quantitatively oriented field required
  • 3-5 years related experience in sales analytics and/or commercial operations, preferably within the biotechnology or pharmaceutical industry

Compensation

Tolmar compensation programs are focused on equitable, fair pay practices including market-based base pay and a strong benefits package. The final compensation offered may vary from the posted range based on the selected candidates qualifications and experience.

The pay range for this position at commencement of employment is expected to be between ($93,000 and $115,000 year); however, while salary ranges are effective from 1/1/25 through 12/31/25, fluctuations in the job market may necessitate adjustments to pay ranges during this period. Further, final pay determinations will depend on various factors, including, but not limited to geographical location, experience level, knowledge, skills and abilities.
