Limited Duration Therapy Aide

Location Site: Salem Hospital, 890 Oak Street SE, Salem, Oregon 97301

Position Type: Full Time, 40 hours/week, Non-Exempt, Limited Duration
Schedule: 8:30 am - 5:00 pm, Monday - Friday

Your role with us
As a valued member of our therapy team, you will support rehabilitation services at our outpatient rehabilitation center by partnering with physical therapists, occupational therapists, and speech-language pathologists. As a therapy aide, you will help the clinic run smoothly by assisting with patient care, cleaning and stocking equipment, and supporting therapists during treatment sessions. • Assist patients during therapy sessions, ensuring comfort, dignity, and safety.
• Support therapists with mobility tasks using proper safety techniques.
• Transport patients to and from therapy areas as needed.
• Monitor patient well-being and promptly communicate any concerns to staff.
• Maintain a clean, organized and safe therapy environment.
• Manage, clean and perform minor repairs on therapy equipment.
• Stock and organize supplies to support daily therapy operations.
• Help ensure efficient patient flow and smooth session transitions.

• High school diploma or equivalent.

• Basic Life Support (BLS) to be obtained within 90 days of hire.
