*Structured Cabling Technician*
*Job Description:* We are seeking a motivated and career-driven individual to join our team as an Entry-Level Cable Technician. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to grow in the Structured Cabling field. The ideal candidate will begin by assisting experienced cable technicians with pulling and terminating voice and data cables for commercial clients. Over time, this role will evolve into a full Cable Technician position with the opportunity to gain experience in security systems. *Key Responsibilities:* * Assist in pulling and running voice and data cables (Cat5, Cat6, conduit) * Terminate and punch down cables on both ends * Work safely at heights using ladders and scissor lifts * Support senior technicians in troubleshooting and installation tasks * Maintain a clean and organized work environment *Required Skills:* * Basic knowledge of cable installation and structured cabling * Familiarity with low voltage systems, Cat5/Cat6 cables, and punchdown tools * Strong troubleshooting and installation abilities * Excellent customer service skills-must be professional and courteous in front of clients * Comfortable working in physically demanding environments *Top Skills:* * Cable pulling and installation * Structured cabling * Low voltage systems * Cat5/Cat6 terminations * Troubleshooting and repair *Additional Qualifications:* * OSHA 10 certification is required * Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to handle challenging customer interactions * Willingness to learn and grow into more advanced technical roles, including security systems *Pay and Benefits* The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $25.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
