As the Medical Office Lead at the Monmouth Clinic, this role is at the heart of daily operations-balancing leadership support, front office coordination, and patient care with energy and purpose. From optimizing schedules and managing EMR workflows to mentoring staff and enhancing clinic efficiency through LEAN practices, this position drives a smooth, patient-centered experience. It's a dynamic opportunity to lead, support, and elevate a collaborative clinic environment every day.

What you'll do

  • Serves as a key resource to support daily front office operations, including scheduling, registration, and EMR systems like MyChart.
  • Coordinates staff schedules, daily assignments, provider call schedules, and department meetings to ensure efficient clinic workflow.
  • Provides training, onboarding, and guidance to front office staff, maintaining strong knowledge of all roles to offer backup when needed.
  • Oversees inventory management and supply ordering for front office needs.
  • Participates in staff hiring processes, performance feedback, and promotes adherence to clinic policies and standard work.
  • Supports LEAN initiatives to improve front office processes and patient experience.
  • Facilitates clear, collaborative communication among staff and leadership, while assisting with patient concerns and ensuring smooth patient flow.

Required qualifications

  • High school or equivalent degree is required.
  • 1 year of Electronic Medical Records (EMR) expereince required.

Additional information

  • 2 years of medical office experience preferred.
