Job Summary:

Assists in the administration of systems and applications. Provides tier one technical support for users of IT systems including administration of the core financial platform (Symitar Episys), enterprise scheduler and Electronic Content Management system. Monitors and maintains other software and applications. Oversees processes to ensure all data is safe and programs run smoothly. Analyzes and diagnoses system errors. Tests, troubleshoots, and fixes any problem related to applications and systems or refers them to the Senior Applications Administrator for assistance. Creates scripts, programs and workflows for Enterprise Job Scheduler or Electronic Content Management system. Provides basic support of Automated Teller Machines (ATMs).

Essential Functions, Duties, and Responsibilities:



  • Assists in administration of the enterprise critical system, core financial platform (core), i.e., Symitar Episys and related modules, job scheduler, and related modules, Electronic Content Management system and its related modules.
  • Creates workflows, scripts, and other applicable content for all critical systems assigned to team for review by higher level staff. Monitors for job execution and completion. Troubleshoots and reruns failed jobs. Corrects workflows or scripts as necessary to ensure job completion or refers them to the Senior Applications Administrator for assistance.
  • Maintains health and upkeep of the systems, including installation of updates, releases, service packs and patches for all critical and other applications assigned to team.
  • Coordinates with internal business partners and third-party vendors as needed for application testing, maintenance, changes, or updates. Ensures all application configurations and changes support adopted security protocols and guidelines.
  • Creates and revises technical documentation of workflow processes and standard operating procedures.
  • Provides tier one end user support and responds to tickets received by the Service/Help Desk.
  • Assists in overseeing the upkeep, physical security, integrity, and safety of the data center.
  • Monitors status of the ATM equipment and either takes corrective action where appropriate or reports problem to vendor for corrective action.
  • Participates in on-call rotation as scheduled and directed by the IT Operations Manager.


Qualifications:



  • Two-year information technology related degree from a college or university, or equivalent technology related training required.
  • Technology related certification in relevant technologies, computer languages or applications preferred.
