MizzouRec Services and Facilities is a department within the Division of Student Affairs that provides quality leisure experiences to all members of the campus community, primarily Mizzou students. Research shows a positive correlation between physical activity and educational outcomes of university students. Additional Responsibilities Shift
40 hours per week. Monday-Friday; 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM Evenings and weekends will be required based on program needs. Minimum Qualifications
A Bachelor's degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience and at least 3 years of experience from which comparable knowledge and skills can be acquired is necessary. Preferred Qualifications
Master's degree in exercise science, kinesiology, recreation, or related area and five years of an equivalent combination of education and experience from which comparable knowledge and abilities can be acquired is preferred. Instructor and/or trainer certification from an appropriate fitness association (ACE, ACSM, NSCA, NETA, AFAA, NESTA). Will also have standard certification in CPR & First Aid. Experience in developing and implementing training programs for individuals with an interest in fitness instruction. Anticipated Hiring Range
